- Safe Use and UVB Bulb Replacement: For indoor use only. Do not use with dimmers, do not expose directly to water and unplug before installing or replacing the UVB bulb. Keep the lamp at least 6 inches away from reptiles and avoid glass or plastic between the lamp and animal. Replace the UVB bulb after about 8 months when used 10–12 hours per day.
